GREAT CONVENTION!

What a great Convention we had in Harrogate coming 8th with 15 new members on the risers for the first time a great achievement well done girls. 58 on stage this year and hopefully over 70 next year. Thanks to all who helped organise.

Smaller than the chorus

The Barbershop style started at the end of the 19th century, with quartets and quartets remain, to a lot of people, the purest form of the style.

Nowadays, quartets are generally formed within the context of a barbershop club and Second City Sound have boasted a number of them over the years. We currently have three active quartets.
